Flaystus Posted February 17, 2011 Share Posted February 17, 2011 No KP no errors the screen goes black like its about to load the desktop and I can actually hear the machine give up. Like suddenly there is no load on the hardware at all. Just sits there. Installed originally with Kakewalk No sleepenabler installed that I can find and the extra folder is pretty basic. FILES com.apple.Boot.plis DSDT.aml Extensions.mkext smbios.plist FOLDERS and contents Extentions >fakesmc.kext >JMicron36xATA.kext Themes normal stuff here basically. Any suggestions? edit: BTW once 10.6.6 is installed not only will it no longer startup from the hard drive but I cannot start it up from the bootup flash drive either. So I'm assuming something in my extra folder is causing the issue. Final edit: I don't use IDE so can I get rid of JMicron36xATA.kext? Its just one more thing that could cause a problem right?
