Anzeb
I know that you get thousands of these threads here, and i do apologize for that, but i am having issues with installing OSX on my PC. The current specs of the computer: Asus p5k ( standard ) Intel Q6600 Corsair 4gb ram Ati Radeon HD4870 512mb xfx A year ago i had the same setup but with the 8800GTS 512mb as the graphics card. Now when i try to install OsX it installs but wont boot up. It gives me the "broken" apple logo. I tried installing : iAtkos 10.6.3 iDeneb 10.5.6 iPC 10.5.6 Is there a way to get this graphics card ( the Ati Radeon HD4870 ) on any of the current OsX releases, and if yes, how ? Also i would like some pointers with the network and sound adapters for the motherboard. If you need any information please ask. Ty for your time. Gringo Vermelho
Type Asus P5K in the search box above and start experimenting, there is lots of useful information available to you here already. If you run into problems post here again. A "broken apple logo" just means "something" is wrong and nobody is any wiser. This is what people with a real Mac see when something is wrong, but you can't take your PC to the Apple store. If you want any help with that you should boot in verbose mode with -v and post a photo.
