10.5.8 on Compaq Presario V2000?

i just got a used Compaq Presario V2000 from a friend, and i tried to load iDeneb v1.6 10.5.8 and it installs fine, but after the chameleon boot screen pops up it gives me the normal apple loading screen and after 5 minutes it just freezes and reboots... what do i do?
