Joe Croo
Hi All, Big ups to everyone that's been sharing information and collaborating with others to get our OSX86 machines purring. I've found a lot of information on this site and hope to contribute and give back to others. It took a while to get my Snow Leopard stable, but my second HDMI monitor (dual display) is not working yet and I could use some help if anyone has a similar setup. I'm using a BFG GTX 295 single PCIx card that would run in SLI in Windows 7. It has two DVI ports and an HDMI port. The two DVI ports are fine, but I cannot get the HDMI port to output to my second monitor. I cannot try to run both DVI ports at once because my secondary monitor only has HDMI. Short of going out and buying a DVI to HDMI cable, I wanted to see if anyone else has this card and can get dual monitors workings. My About this Mac recognizes the Geforce GTX 295 card and 895MB ram, etc. All looks good. I don't think I used the NVEnabler or anything special to get that working. I have not installed any Nvidia drivers from their website, but I notice there are two: One for the GTX 260 and one for the Quadro. There's also the CUDA driver. Do I need to install these if my system already sees the 295 in Snow Leopard? Thanks in advance for your help! Much appreciate all the brilliant folks here. -JC Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/248077-msi-p55-gd80-i7-860-gtx-295-on-snow-leopard/ Share on other sites
