t0rr3nt
Hey, I am new to the hackintosh thing, and I decided after tons of searching around, that the efficient thing was to use the Kalyway installer for 10.5.2. After I installed it though, I saw that there was no wifi. So I went back to the internet and went to find the solution. I used a combination of them and it worked! Here's how I have dome it... Step one: Download the t0rr3ntWifi pack and prepare ------------------------------ 1.Download the pack at http://www.mediafire.com/?4350im0195fzxq6 2.Download a Kext Ultitity 3.Open the t0rr3ntWifi package 4.First, Install KisMAC. Drag it to your folder. 5.Open it up and go to KisMAC>Preferences>Driver 6. On the drop down menu, select Apple Airport Extreme Card, Passive Mode 7. By then, the channel hopping option should be open. This is good. Exit, and try to scan. You might get nothing, and this is also good. If you get an error message, then sorry, I don't know what to do. . 8.Minimize, then run Kext Permissions. (I don't know if you really need this, but it makes me feel better. ) 9. Now open your kext utility, then drag all 3 kexts on to your utility. Run it, then run Kext permission repair. 10.Finally, run the WiFi Dell package. After you do, you should see a message that says that iit was dected. It's not going to show, so restart it. Before you do, run kext repair. 11. On bootup, if you see a feint green signal light, your all done!
