.Hell.
Hello everyone Iam new to the forum here and i been told from many friends online that here is best place to ask my questions and find someone who would really care to answer them . First of all i have Acer Aspire 5741G Laptop with these specifications Core I3 Cache 3MB 3 GB RAM DDR3 ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 And i been trying so bad to install Max OSX on it since i cant afford buying a MacBook cause i so love how the OS looks and i been told its so fast and awesome to have it installed on your laptop And i been looking over so many forums for steps to how to install it to my laptop Unfortunately i can barely find any guide that is easy for me to understand cause i am too noob to all the computing stuff I have Snow leopard 10.6.2 ISO And i have burned it to a DVD Also i have downloaded the ##### ISO and burned it to a CD Then i restarted my lap , went in to my BIOS , Changed the Sata to ACHI then saved it and rebooted Then i inserted the ##### CD to my DVD ROOM then it booted to a screen that in order haves icons called these : ##### - Windows NTFS - Windows NTFS - System Then i ejected the ##### CD and inserted the Snow leopard DVD Then i waited a bit and pressed F5 , Then it changed the screen order to something like this : Windows NTFS - Windows NTFS - System - ##### Then i waited a lot , over 15 mint and nothing happened , Then i pressed enter in the end and it gave me this msg that says : Memory allocation error ! Add=0xdeadbeef , Size=0x0 , File=ati.c , line=668 This is non recoverable error ! System HALTED !! Then nothing happens . My question is , could anyone give me an easy guide to how to install the OS to my laptop ? Cause as i said i am too noob to understand the hard computing stuff . And i have made a new partition with 25 GB free space and called it leopard and its FAT32 , is that right ? or it has to be NTFS ? Waiting for all your answers , and thanks in advance .
