Well i installed Snow Leopard on Dell Latitude D630 updated to 10.6.6 :) And lost sound... I found on forum that i need to patch DSDT to get sound to work.

I suppose to patch it with:

Device (HPET)
{
Name (_HID, EisaId (“PNP0103″))
Name (ATT3, ResourceTemplate ()
{
IRQNoFlags ()
{0}
IRQNoFlags ()
{11}
IRQNoFlags ()
{15}
Memory32Fixed (ReadWrite,
0xFED00000, // Address Base
0×00000400, // Address Length
)
})

I tried to do so in DSDTSE and DSDT Editor but both solutions not working, i mean i get compilation errors.

Anyone got a clue what im doing wrong?

If additional info needed let me know.

Help appreciated!

Hello Thanks for such a quick answer! :)

Motherboard chipset: Intel Crestline GM965

Sound card: SigmaTel STAC9205 @ Intel 82801HBM ICH8M - HD audio

DSDT:

dsdt.aml.zip

The DSDT is already edited

you need the legacy + AppleHda 10.6.2
