But - Yes, there’s always one, after updating to the new shiny 10.6.6 using software update - its seems to cease being recognised, unless you are booted using '-x' Safe Mode After searching some posts online it seems there is not a fix to this yet. d4vinder Posted February 17, 2011 Author Share Posted February 17, 2011 OK so I managed to get the wifi working in 10.6.6 with a little help from a friend! NOW I have a new issue - due to the manner in which I have the got the wifi working in 10.6.6 I do not have any usb's working! I had to restore the mach_kernel to the previous 10.4.0 because the new one in 10.6.6 (10.6.0) keeps on making the wifi vanish. So now the wifi is back but there is no USB!! can anyone help with this?
