I update my iPC on my ASUS F5V laptop : D He still is working : ) After update to Mac OS X 10.5.8 I don't have working my ALC660.kext and full CI/QE on ATI Mobility Radeon X2300 : ) You need to download Andy's Kernel (Voodoo 9.6 on the end of post). Now backup your current kernel: - sudo cp mach_kernel mach_kernel_old And now repair it's permissions: - sudo chmod -R 755 mach_kernel_old - sudo chown -R 0:0 mach_kernel_old Now you can start Apple Software Update. After update and computer reset, while booting press F8 and write: mach_kernel_old -x If your computer boots up in SAFE MODE you can install Andy's Kernel.
