Raider_Singer
Hello everybody! I'm asking for your advices in installing iATKOS S3v2 SL on my Sony VAIO VGN-TX650P Notebook. The problem is: installer doesn't work with my HDD. Disk Utility SHOW my HDD but can DO NOTHING with it. Formatting, partitioning - "freezes" on "Disconnecting HDD". Sometimes 1 operation is success and after it again "freeze"... Once whole HDD formatting passed ok, all next operations - "freeze". Partitioning in other OSx86 builds (iDeneb, Leo4All, JaS) works correctly. So I've patitioned my HDD in iDeneb 1.5.1 and tried to install iATKOS S3v2. After pressing "Install" button installer "freezes" on 1st percent or even on "Prepairing to install". Short hardware specs (report from EVEREST): Computer Type: 1-processor computer with ACPI (Mobile) CPU: Mobile Intel Pentium M ULV 753, 1200 MHz (12 x 100) Motherboard: Sony VGN-TX650P Chipset: Mobile Intel Alviso-G i915GMS RAM: 1014Mb (DDR2-533 DDR2 SDRAM) BIOS: Phoenix (08/05/05) Video: Mobile Intel® 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family (128 Mb) 3D-accelerator: Intel GMA 900 Sound: Realtek ALC260 @ Intel 82801FBM ICH6-M - High Definition Audio Controller [b-1] IDE-controller Intel® 82801FB/FBM Ultra ATA Storage Controllers - 266F IDE-controller Texas Instruments PCI7411 Integrated FlashMedia Controller (SD, MemoryCard Reader) HDD: TOSHIBA MK6006GAH (60 Gb, 4200 RPM, Ultra-ATA/100) DVD±RW: MAT{censored}A UJ-832D (DVD+R9:2.4x, DVD+RW:4x/2.4x, DVD-RW:4x/2x, DVD-ROM:8x, CD:24x/10x/24x DVD+RW/DVD-RW) HDD SMART Status: OK LAN: Intel® PRO/100 VM Network Connection FireWire-controller: Texas Instruments OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller (PHY: TI TSB41AB1/2) {"freezes" just an operation - not whole setup program. Cursor is moving, if "freeze" is in Disk Utility - I can quite it.} Hope for your help. Thanks beforehand. Best regards, Alexandr.
