Hello, im new to the forum and to the mac scene. I've been searching a lot in the web for creating my first hackintosh on the past weeks. My system is this one:

- Asus P7H55D-M Pro

- i3 - 540

- Zotac Nvidia 240 gt 512DDR3

- Kingston 2x2gb ddr3 1333

- OZ SSD 64GB

I had this ssd drive from an old macbook pro that i used. I had my operating system loaded there, so i use ##### to boot to the drive and i successfully managed to boot os x. I installed the 10.6.6 update and then i use ##### for the post installation process.

I managed to get audio , ethernet, full res by hdmi and vga(didn't test in dvi). My video card is recognized by my system.

But i have some issues that are quite annoying. First of all when i use istat i cant see the temps and fans of CPU and GPU. Also i cant get my machine to successfully wake after sleeping.

Last but not least(i think the most important one) i think that my gpu is not working at 100%. For example, when i play a video in quicktime , and then i drag the video, the image freezes until i stop dragging the video. Also i see some glitches for example when i open a folder. I think openGL is not working nice here.

I want to use DSDT but i really don't know anything about that so for now im not getting into it.

I would like some help if someone nows the reason or a fix for this problems.

Thanks before hand.

Both dsdt.alm fixed the sleeping problem, thanks! When i use the GPU one, i dont notice any diference in the performance. Now that i have used the system for a "long time", i realize that the slowdowns are when i drag things only i think. For exaple as i mention before, dragging a movie in quicktime or even dragging a file!. What could be the problem?

Yes, with both .alm Front Row works. Another thing that i notice, is , that when te pc wakes up from sleeping, the audio starts sounding horrible. Also all OS in general gets really slow. This is only after i wake up.

audio problem --> VoodooHda after wake, try another version

the other problem

I do not know how to solve this

Hi!

I've got the same board and (almost?) the same problem:

My OSX 10.6.6 (by Hazard) does not wake up after sleep. I've been reading this forum and installed Chameleon RC5, generated DSDT.aml file with DSDT autopacher, downloaded Lizard and made some configuration with it.

My system looks like it can wake up, but my screen is black. If I push randomly my keyboard sometimes the system makes sound (I dont know the sound event name, but it tells me the system is waken up expect the monitor/VGA).

My config is:

Asus p7h55m pro

Intel i5-760

2x2GB ram

Vapor-x ATI Radeon hd 4890

What to do?

Thank you very much!
