Etho
I managed to install OS X 10.4.6 on my laptop, but I am unable to use the built in keyboard or mouse. I am currently using a usb keyboard and mouse, but the keyboard is not mine, so if anybody has any suggestions to get the built-in keyboard to work(at least) and if at all possible, the mouse. I have searched around and nothing I have found worked. Thank you... System specs: Acer Aspire 5000 Series 1 GB DDR SDRAM Broadcom 4318 Wireless Lan AMD Turion, 1.8 GHz Synaptic Touchpad Keyboard?? Juan Schwartz
Try turning off legacy USB support in the BIOS
Etho
I would try that, but Acer offers a fairly minimalistic BIOS, the only useful option that is in the bios is the boot order, other than that, it displays information about the computer, RAM, etc. Any other suggestions?? Etho
No such luck, neither the keyboard or mouse work after that attempt, could it matter which version of ApplePS2Controller that I have. I have tried many of them, but I thought that this might be the case so I reinstalled it with the pre-installed kext, but still no dice. Any other ideas?
