Holreeet, you may have got this sorted by now, but i stumbled across it. If you are wanting to install kexts to your OSX install you probably want to use kexthelperb7 - google it, and it will most likely be the first link. Download and install your kexts via kext helper. I also have a Dell D610 with SL_Hazard 10.6.2 To locate your Extensions.mtext it should hopefully be in, /System/Library If you can't find your mtext, you need to rebuild it - i use something called pfix - it saves you a lot of hassle and typing when rebuilding kextcaches. You are no longer able to use "kextcache -k" to rebuilt your extensions when using Snow Leopard. Have funnn with the Problematic Dell D610 :') Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/247435-sl-1062-by-hazard-on-dell-latitude-d610/#findComment-1664140 Share on other sites
russurquhart1
This may be old new now, but i am trying to install the 10.6.2 SL_hazard. It installed on my drive, of my D610, but when i go to boot, it hangs and never does anything else. Can someone give me some more info? What if any kexts do i need to add? I have the released 10.6.3 Snow Leopard, is there a better way to go now? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Russ Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/247435-sl-1062-by-hazard-on-dell-latitude-d610/#findComment-1848058 Share on other sites
