peterbr Posted February 11, 2011 Share Posted February 11, 2011 Hello, This info might be of use to other users experiencing system freezes. I experienced them both running windows and MAC OS. The freezes occur randomly but always seem to be triggered by graphics operations. My platform consists of a P55M-UD2 rev 1 board and a Patit (nVidia) 9400GT board with 1G memory. I tried all kind of BIOS settings from setting fixed PCI bus speeds, fixed CPU speeds, failsafe settings, etc etc. What brought back a stable situation was to disable the firewire option in the BIOS. Since that change I have not had freezes anymore.
