Blank White Screen instead of Install Screen G51JX-X1

Hey all,

 

I'm trying to install a retail 10.6 SL disc on my Asus G51JX-X1 laptop using Nawcom's BootCD, but every time I get passed the text and it heads to the install screen it just stays pure white. The CD tray and hard drive ramp up every once in a while but the screen never changes.

 

I have used bootflags GraphicsEnabler=No -v -f and on one occasion nv_disable=1 but that caused a kernel panic. Any advice?
