scleone1987
Hi all, I installed iAtkos S3 v2 on my machine with only Chameleon v2 RC5 bootloader selected on the kext selection screen; LAN works properly after deleting RTL8109 kext and installing a specific package for my Ethernet Controller. When I try to upgrade to v. 10.6.6 (booting with -x flag and installing the 10.6.6 combo update downloaded from apple website) I get a never-stops-loading screen once I restart the machine (no KP message shows up). I started the system in verbose mode two times: the first time had a kernel panic (see screens below), while the second time it seemed to be stuck at line "Bootcache: Hit Rate Below Treshold (3508 hits on 7017 lookups)" for about 15-20 minutes, then I had to restart the machine. How can I solve this problem? My PC config: Intel Core 2 Duo e6420 ATI Radeon HD 5770 1 GB GDDR5 (see GPU-Z image below) 2x2 GB DDR2 @800 MHz Dual Channel Mode MoBo ASUS P5G41-M LX (chipset Intel G41 /ICH7, Audio ALC662-VC1 High Definition Audio 6-Channel CODEC, Realtek RTL8139/810x Fast Ethernet Adapter PCI LAN) (http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=4CHKsRd0uq8UAWh0) Attachments: Verbose mode (-v) screens Thanks in advance for your help.
