Hello folks! As some things are being fixed, we'll keep you updated. Per hour the Forum Rules don't have a dedicated "Tab", so here is the place that we have our Rules back. New Users Lounge > [READ] - InsanelyMac Forum Rules - The InsanelyMac Staff Team.

Newb's Internet

I just got OS X working in VMWare Server (I've never used either before), and I'm trying to find my way around everything.

How can I get Internet access to my OS X? I don't believe that it identifies my ethernet port. I'm using VMWare through Ubuntu (and WinXP, depending on what I'm using) - is there anyway I could be connected in Ubuntu / WinXP and have OS X use that connection instead of directly connecting?

I'm using a wired cable connection. I couldn't find the answer anywhere in the wiki or forums. Sorry if it's a repeat.
