IanSeattle
Hello, I am trying to install OS X 10.6.1 on my Sony Vaio VPCEE34FX. I am using the Snow Leopard 10.6.1-10.6.2 Intel AMD install by Hazard (Note that it isnt the Client Server Version) The main specs of the laptop are: Processor - AMD K10 Motherboard - AMD 785GX Graphics Card - ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 Network Card - Atheros AR9285 Optical Drive - Pioneer BluRay I cant even get it to boot into the installer. I have tried booting with -v -x -arch=i386 -legacy, and pretty much every combination of those. It starts loading the Kext's, has no errors, the screen goes black, then turns back on, stays all black. I've let it sit for a very long time each time, the drive stops and it stops loading. I would like to just at least be able to get to the installer, I've Google'd around a bit and no dice so far. Any idea's?
