trumansnare
Hello, I am trying to install Snow Leopard Retail on my PC. Intel i7 930 9GB DDR3 NVIDIA GTX 460 Asus Rampage III Gene 500gb HD, 1tb HD I am using the newest BOOT-123 disc. I Start my computer and boot the BOOT-123 disc. The Darwin prompt appears. I eject the disc, and pop in the full retail snow leopard. I press enter. It asks me for the boot device number (80,81) When I type 80 (which is my primary Hard drive, with windows installed) it just starts loading windows, and never boots the retail disc. When I type 81 (secondary HDD) Then it tells me that the Boot MGR is missing to restart. Which makes sense because I don't have a bootmgr on that drive. I don't get why it starts windows instead of booting the retail disc. Has anyone had this happen to them? Thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/247244-boot-disc-snow-leopard-retail-wont-boot/ Share on other sites
