Hello,

(Sorry for the mistakes, I'm french)

I would like to install OS X on my VAIO Z11Z9E.

Specs :

Intel Core i7 620M ( >> busratio=20 )

6GB RAM

Nvidia 330M

13" inch screen with 1920x1080

4x64GB SSD ( normally in RAID 0 configuration in BIOS)

Backlight keyboard

...

For the one wondering why I didn't take a MBP, I would like to do some editing on FCP and there were no MBP with 13" and i7 cpu.

As the CPU and the GPU is the same than on MBP 15" or MBP 17", I thought it would be easy to install OSX86 on this computer.

I was far from reality.

I can manage to install 10.6.0 or 10.6.3 retail with ##### method, on "stamina mode" (Intel Graphics).

But as soon as I want to do a ComboUpdate to 10.6.2-10.6.6 it crashes before the end of the update, when it comes to replacing the files.

And if I try to install ##### to install Chameleon (with and without NV enabler) it crashes at the reboot, entering into a reboot loop. adding busratio=20 doesn't work.

I tried to boot with a ubuntu live cd then replacing the kernel with an other one, more recent, which accept the i7 but i can only mount the hfs in readonly.

I tried with an other boot cd which can install directly the bootloader in the installation menu.

Do you have any advice ?

did you remove the sleepenabler.kext before putting the updates in??

when you install #####, did you type arch=i386??

I did not find the sleepenabler.kext in my installation, and I don't know where to type the arch for ##### ...
