I purchased this laptop because of the unbelievable price of $398 at Walmart, it's got some decent specs being a budget laptop and looks expensive....please help me out you guys will this work for an OS X86 install? Penguin! Posted June 2, 2011 Share Posted June 2, 2011 Hate to bump an old thread, but it will work somewhat. You will need a DVD called "SnowLeoDVD.iso" which can be easily found. Boot into that using the boot args "toh -v -f " and install as normal. I can provide the drivers for sound when you want. The Intel HD Graphics doesn't work, but you need to use "Graphics Mode"="1600x900x32@75" which will render you with '1440x900x32' but it's as high as it will go without proper drivers.
