I have an Acer aspire 1644 and 10.4.1 worked perfectly and fast.

I tried to install 10.4.6 HOTiSO, Jas and Myzar and all came up with the same problem.

Either if I startup with -v or not, all appear to work perfectly but when is going to appear the starting mac os x it freezes showing the blue background.

I tried to search everywhere about this problem but I didn't find anything.

Anybody with the same problem?

Thanks in advance

yeah... that's OSX86's version of the BSOD (blue screen of death). Nothing serious really.

OSX has a bug in internal lcd screen detection with GMA900 devices. The only way to solve this is to make a dummy vga adapter shorting pins 1-6 and 2-12. Or short them directly using a paper clip or staples.

There are a few pictures of what I mean if you search for vga dummy.

This essentially simulates two screens and OSX86 will happily boot after that. People are working in making a software solution for this. Don't hold your breath.
