It is pointless for my to have mac on a netbook if the wireless does not work. and ive been searching for days trying to figure this out. I went to the asus website and found my netbook with installed XP and it said my card is NE766 Wireless LAN Driver and GE780 Wireless LAN Driver. I could not find anything on the GE780 but found that NE766 is Ralink. i went to the website and downloaded the driver for RT2860 as i saw on a few forums and installed it. It did not work but came up with an error while installed that the "RT2860wirelessdriver.kext was installed improperly" and i cant find anything on this or a fix. my wireless does not work. i run the Ralink utility and it says no device... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ive been working on this for days....still cant get it.
