dual zotac gtx480 with efi-strings method (aquamac) problem

dear all!

 

I've got a strange problem.

 

i installed the first card in pci-express16 1 and the second in pci-express16 3.

 

did the gfxutil thing to find out my addresses (0x1, 0x3 etc. and 0x1, 0x7...)

made a hex dump and added to my com.apple.boot.plist

 

the problem:

if both cards are in my computer, it is resulting in a kernel panic.

 

if i boot with only the first graphic card, it works and i get the right specs in my system profiler.

(it says 1. gtx 480...)

if i boot with only the second graphic card, it also works and gives me "2. gtx 480..." in my system profiler.

 

so, the hex seems to work. but why do i get the kernel panic if both cards are in it?

 

anyone, any ideas?

 

i am having quite a struggle with my setup. i have a x58a-ud9 and tried like everything until i realized that i had a broken board. then it got replaced yesterday, and now this strange problem...
