simon55
Hi, I've just hackintoshed my Gateway Desktop (10.6.6 with 8500Gt 256 Mb), and my resolution is stuck at 800x600. Now, I can only boot in safe mode, because it does a blue screen if I boot it normally, I've tried : *"Graphics Mode"="1440x900x32" in both boot.plist file (The one in /Extra, and the other in /SystemConfiguration) *SwitchResX (Not so sure btw, I've just add 1440x900, and save it, when I've changed to the new reso, a new blue screen, Yay!) *I have Chameleon Bootloader RC5 (Multibooting XP and Mac OS X), and tried to "Graphics Mode"="1440x900x32", Blue Screen again... *And finally, in both boot.plist, Graphics Mode (between <key> and </key>) and 1440x900x32@60 (between <string> and </string>) My monitor is a LG L96WTQ (1440x900 at 60Hz), and another info, in System Preferences, Monitor, Mac recognizes it as a Generic VGA/SVGA monitor, on a previous installation, I think with 10.6.3, it was recognizing it as a LG, any ideas?? Thanks, Simon Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/246424-my-monitor-resolution-is-stuck-to-800x600/ Share on other sites
