HiDDeNN
I'm using ##### in order to start the Snow Leopard Retail DVD installation. When I start the Disk Utility I cannot see my SATA drives. My machine is a Dell Studio XPS 8100, and has an Intel Rapid Storage in the mainboard to manage its two disks in Raid. The BIOS gives too few options to play with, and none related to AHCI. I only can change between "ATA" and "RAID". None of the two solves the problem. I have tried to change the drives to other SATA ports, and nothing, they are still not detected. What can I do in a situation like this? Is there some solution out there? I have searched a lot and have found nothing. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/246177-installation-not-detecting-my-sata-drives/ Share on other sites
