KSwoosh
Hey guys, I have OS X 10.6.6 up and running perfectly in VMWare 7, though I have a small problem. I want to install Logic Pro, but for some weird reason, it thinks I have 0 VRAM. When I look at the hardware details in OS X, it clearly says: VRAM (Total): 128 MB I've done that by using those lines: svga.vramSize = "134217728" (which equals 128MB) mks.enable3d = "TRUE" (to enable graphics 3D acceleration, found it in the VMWare help files. [from VMWare5 , but why not give it a go]) But for some reason, the Logic Pro installer still says I have 0 MB VRAM (while 64 is required) Anyone know how to fix this? I could also edit the setup files to alter or remove the requirements check (Ive read about that its possible to do with the OS X installation disks), but dont really know how. So if you can help me out, please do! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/246174-increasing-the-vram/ Share on other sites
Zenith432
Most likely needs QE/CI. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/246174-increasing-the-vram/#findComment-1633302 Share on other sites
KSwoosh
Most likely needs QE/CI. What is that? I managed to bypass the requirements test by using Pacifist: it installed the package for me ^^ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/246174-increasing-the-vram/#findComment-1633322 Share on other sites
