Alessandro17
First thank you for this forum, I'm sure I will get lots of help that I need. (Unlike some other forums) I hope so. But you need to help us. I mean, we need to know your hardware. Knowing that you have an AMD CPU is not enough. I've got the same mobo and and worked on this for weeks. Kernel panic after kernel panic. I gave up on this distro. So, without breaking forum rules; I'm going to tell you to "Head on down to the bay and see what I left for you there." Cheers! -Jared Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/246076-problem-booting-snow-leopard-after-install/#findComment-1649090 Share on other sites

Looking at your screenies, it's a prob with IOAtaFamily. You can replace this kext with another version that fixes the kernel panic (see IOATAFamily fix). Replace via single user mode, or use HFS+, or maybe ##### or Nawcom ModCD, then after replacing, reboot with -f (won't load without -f, it'll give you load errors).
