WCR
Got one of these little netbooks for University and would very much like to get OS X up and running on it. Can anyone point me in the correct direction for a relevant Distro that would work and notes on installing it? I've got absolutely nowhere so far - following the guide on here: http://osx.mechdrew.com/guides/nbi2.shtml I get as far as selecting the Install DVD - then when I ask it to boot into it - I get a grey screen - and nothing else. Tried booting into Verbose mode - I get 6 lines of text - ending with "patching kernel 'mach_kernel" - and it just sits there at that point doing nothing. I can't get into the Safe Mode even! Using the original Retail DVD without any addons - any thoughts? everluck
I don't have any experience with that machine, but here are two links that might help. The first not-so-hopeful one. And one that indicates it's possible. Good luck.
