I have read a lot of conflicting information on this topic and would appreciate a definitive answer from someone who knows a bit about overclocking (a hackintosh). This RAM costs just over $150 and is 12GB at 1333mhz. This RAM, on the other hand, is 12GB at 1600mhz. My question is: if I am intending to overclock an i7 950 to 4+ghz on a GA-X58A-UD7 with a Sapphire HD5870, am I better off getting the Corsair RAM? I know there is a negligible performance difference between 1333 and 1600mhz RAM, but when it comes to fairly serious overclocking I have read that 1600mhz is superior because it allows for higher overclocks.

Any thoughts would be appreciated

P.S. price is not an issue and yes I do need 12gb of RAM
