Hope someone can help me as I have searched and not found a solution.

I loaded the latest Chameleon Booter today 2.0 rc5 r700 which boots great, much faster than previous version I was using.

Finally my CPU is properly detected as an Intel Core-i7

I then used DSDT Auto Patcher to create a DSDT.aml file and told Chameleon where it was located and the system boots fine with it.

The problem I have now is that my memory slot configuration is messed up. After initial boot after installing Chameleon RC5 r700 I got the memory slot utility which popped up telling me the configuration of my memory modules was incorrect. Prior to installing Chameleon RC5 r700 my memory modules were perfectly detected. Also notice that the one dimm (Chan C Dimm 0/J4MY) is now detected as DDR-2 and does not show the Kingston Name as it does with the other 2. I have double-checked that my memory is in the correct slots.

What can I do to fix this?

System appears to be running fine and fast but this does concern me a little that OSX is not seeing the memory properly.

Would appreciate any help on this.

Good to see you got your board working :)

You might be able to manually set your memory manufacturer and such in your smbios file. I don't think your current situation is impacting your performance though. I had the same message on my system but my motherboard is reporting that i'm running triple channel.

OS X is probably confused because the DX58SO got four slots of which only three slots are used for triple channel but the spare slot (marked as channel A) is still empty.
