I have an HP dv6108nr, and multiple times a day (seems to be after it comes back from the screensaver) the audio will get very choppy or distorted. The only way I can get it back to normal is by doing:

sudo kextunload /System/Library/Extensions/VoodooHDA.kext
sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/VoodooHDA.kext

But I want a permanent fix; this drives me crazy.

These are my laptop's spec.s if needed:

Let me know if you need any other info.
