test9287127 Posted January 29, 2011 Share Posted January 29, 2011 I tried this Guide on my Onboard Graphic HD3200 (RS780): http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=245308 What I did: 1. I looked what core is used, in that case R610 : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of...x.2C_HD_4xxx.29 2. Since the supported HD2400 has the same core I choose ATI2400Controller.kext. 3. noted (the was only one) id and put mine in 4. then I searched for the noted id in other ATI files and found it in ATIRadeonX2000.kext, so i added my id there too 5 . fixed permissions 6. rebooted, files load. Note: GraphicsEnabler was off. SystemProfiler said, kext loaded and shows a EFI-String. RadeonHD.kext wasn`t installed. I can`t give more detail at this point, because of my CPU (AMD) I can`t get a stable System. It crashes wildly because of some dyld errors. (i got these errors also without the file modification in this post).
