Scotty geek
hi everyone.. Ok maybe Im going for broke here. but I figured why not try. I am looking to get some more experience with Mac OSX Server and had a very successful install of OSX 10.6 on my Gigabyte motherboard. I am curious to know if anyone has tried to take their methods for installing OSX from a retail DVD and try to install OSX Server? Regardless of the hardware type.. Im just curious to see if it is possible. Thanks all Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/245573-any-ever-try-setting-up-osx-server/ Share on other sites
user01100
It's the same as for the client version, only you'll be needing a serial number for the server version. And your motherboard it's probably Gigabyte P45-DS3LR and not Gigabyte P45-DSLR. Good luck!
