I've exhausted Google looking for answers to this problem but I can't seem to find any. I'm relatively new to the whole Osx86 scene but know my way around hardware pretty well.

I've been trying to install OSX86 on my PC, which has the following hardware:

I. PC Specs

ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO (AMD 785G chipset)

AMD Athlon II X3 440 Rana (4th core unlocked)

SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 1TB 7200 RPM SATA HDD

Sony Optiarc CD/DVD Burner/Drive SATA

G.SKILL 4GB RAM

II. The kernel panic

  • Regardless of distro or BIOS settings, I get a kernel panic that seems to involve Voodoo.
  • For the installer to proceed to do ANYTHING, I have to move my mouse around.
  • If I put the BIOS back to factory settings, or switching my SATA configuration to AHCI, both produce the same panic.

III. Distros I've tried to install and produce panic (flags used: -x -v -f cpus=1 maxmem=2048 busratio=17 rd=disk0 platform=ACPI|X86PC)

  • Nawcom bootloader w/ a Snow Leopard Retail DVD
  • The "Snowleo 2.8GB" distro
  • iAtkos 1.7
  • iDeneb 1.6

Can anyone please enlighten me as to what is going on, and what to do? :D

Thanks
