hitokiri0kenshin
Hi, i'm running OSX 10.4.7 on my PC, and i have the original Mac dvds that came with my friends mac. I was wondering if there was any way i could pull iLife off of that. Its one of the new 2 dvd set ones, so i know it has iLife on it, but when i try to install additional software, it says "bundled sofware cannot be installed on this computer, make sure your system meets the requirements. I was wondering if there was a hack around it. Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/24551-install-dvd/ Share on other sites
Guest BuildSmart
Yes there is a way around this, it's checking for a valid Intel/PPC Mac. Disbale this test and all will be well. hitokiri0kenshin
Problem solved!! Just search the dvd for the program u need, and copy the .mpkg file to your computer, then view the contents and install all the .pkg files in there. Works flawlessly(just dont forget anything) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/24551-install-dvd/#findComment-166167 Share on other sites
nylock10
I need to get iLife '06/Garageband out of my Mac OS X Install Disc 2 (it's from my Intel iMac). But nothing but a .TXT file shows up! I know the files are on there. I get the "Meet the system requirements" message when I try to install w/Mac OS X Install Disc 1. Pacifist can't find any packages, either. Help!
