coolest129 Posted January 27, 2011 Share Posted January 27, 2011 Hello everyone i just recently hackintoshed my PC with the Tonymacx86 method with a copy of snow leopard for $30 that i bought at the apple store. I hackintoshed my PC about a week ago and installed drivers and audio and everything else needed with [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url], and finally got it perfect and is now running perfectly and loving it. Now i just want to know if its a good idea or not to update to 10.6.6 im currently on 10.6.3 and i was gonna download the combo update from apples website and update from 10.6.3 to 10.6.6 mainly because the new update has the mac app store which i wanted to use badly. Now everythings working fine and im just not sure if its a good idea to update like will i lose my sound because i had a problem getting the sound to work but finally got it to work or will i lose my drivers or anything? Is it safe to update and if it is then whats the correct way to update? I believe you'll need to run [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] again after installing and before rebooting. bazz.
