Kerplunq
Alright, so I am running a Dell 1545: Intel T4200 2GHz dual core 4GB 667 RAM GM45 Chipset I have used iAktos v7 and after many, many installs. I have worked out almost everything. I have the wireless, the touchpad, sound (including the functional volume buttons), all working as they should be. I am running Mac OS X 10.5.8 and the bootloader I am using is Chameleon 2. The only things I have issues with now are: If I leave the system idling for too long, the whole system locks up and I have to reboot. The other big problem I have is the native res. I know I'm not alone as I have read every thread I could fine on it. I'll be honest, I have no clue how to use Linux so for most of these walkthroughs just really run circles around me. I have only one partition on my system, as I wanna run this as a complete Mac. Every attempt so far has left me with a blank screen or a screen with the grey apple loader all jumbled with lines and nothing happens. So please, be easy with this n00b. I am always willing to try a different approach. I just need a little (or maybe it's a lot) of guidance. Thank you so much, in advanced

One question for you, I also have the inspirion 1545: Is it OK to install 10.5.8 and other updates like iTunes and Quicktime? Last thing I want now is a KP, lol
