Jeppems
Hi and hello. :-) It was my birthday yesterday - i was lucky. My fiance gave me a retail SL 10.6.3 install :-) I used the ##### disc to boot up - installed SL w/o any problems at all, and my laptop boots up just fine. Things that work: Bluetooth - sound - usb - keyboard - ethernet. I've read various guides around the www, and found the ##### + ##### most attractive. After all i really would like to update to 10.6.6 to get the rest of the hardware to work - i've read my Atheros AR9285 got supported in the 10.6.5 update. Oh now to the actual problem :-) Following the ##### instructions - i opened the ##### app before the update package - installed the update, used the ##### dsdt settings and rebooted. I did it in -x -v mode. Now i get the error: applesmbuspci failed to get acpi path for provider after that i get the shutdowncause 3 Anyone got any idea what could help here ? I've thought about making a custom dsdt, but since im quite new to the osx86 community, i dont really know how to do it. :-( Thanks in advance!
