superwinter Posted January 26, 2011 Share Posted January 26, 2011 hi fellow hackintoshers i am struggling a while now to get my two zotac gtx480 working. my specs: gigabyte x58a-ud9 2x zotac gtx480 1200W silent pro power my problem: finally i got it running yesterday with both cards. BUT: it seems that my computer only sometimes detects both cards!!! and i really dont know why!!! let me explain: i used to start with chameleon rc5 700 and if i boot verbose it does detect my two cards only sometimes! i have to shutdown the system and power it off for about 30sec and try it again. every now and then it detects two cards, but the second card with completely wrong vram (see pic!). therefore i tried aquamacs gfx-string-method and voila: if the computer detects both cards it is starting osx with both cards!!! but, why only sometimes? plz help Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/245196-dual-gtx480-efi-strings-works-only-sometimes/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
