Video and Internet

Hey everyone, it's been a while since I tried doing something with this netbook, so I figured I'd give it a go again.

I managed to get 10.6.1 on my netbook via cloning from a USB that had 10.6.1 installed on it. I then updated using the Apple updaters and switching to patched kernels via the USB to get to 10.6.4

I know that my wireless card is not supported, but I assumed that I would be able to get internet via wired?

That isn't that important to me, though. I really just want the video to work.

At the moment, I am stuck in 800x600 and I really need a higher resolution (And more importantly, the ability to have the screen displayed on a monitor instead of the netbook screen)

I tried going through this process here, where I sudo su patch27ae.command, but that didn't work for me.

If someone could help me with these issues, it would be greatly appreciated.

So, after a little fiddling, I managed to get my netbook to not boot at all.

I tried booting with the command "Graphics Mode"="1024x600x32" and now it just won't boot into OSX, it just hangs with the spinning circle.

I also tried to revert it by booting with "Graphics Mode"="800x600x32", but that didn't work.

Anyone have any ideas?
