Unrealized^
So, I went and installed Snow Leopard on my laptop, with AMD CPU. Installation went smoothly, but it crashes whanever I try to update it via the Software Update. It crashes on the boot (reboot immediatelly when the apple logo shows). I think this is related to the kernel, but I'm a newbie in Mac world. I heard I could need a "boot cd" for it? Also, I'm having a sound related problem, which I haven't resolved yet, but it's not a big deal since I use a Music player instead of my computer. My sound card is Via VT1738A, which I haven't found drivers yet. AzaliaAudio detects it, but I have no sound output, Only 2 channels, which of both are silent. Then the third problem, my computer does a Double Kernel Panic whanever I'm using µTorrent. It's pretty annoying, but I think it could be related to the kernel as well? So, My questions are: - How do I update my AMD Hackintosh - How I could try and fix the sound - How I could get rid of that kernel panic while using µTorrent (and if Updating my OS cures that) I'm currently running Snow Leopard 10.6.0. Thanks in advance.
