Help Installing Mac OS X on an old HP or Acer Descktop

Firstly i'd just like to thank you in advance for any help you give me, trust me it's greatly appreciated.

 

 

I've only ever run windows based pc's but would really like to try out some of the "mac only" software (Garageband & Final cut pro in particular as i create music and music video's for a hobby) but i am not in the position to spend out on a mac (The wife would kill me!!)

 

I currently am using an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 with Windows 7 Ultimate Edition (Build 7600) 8GB DDR2 RAM - MB : Gigabyte EP45-UD3L - Graphics : NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT

I do not want to mess around with this pc as it has all my essential "Music creating" software on it and i would hate to stuff it up. But as a last ditch attempt i might be persuaded to set up dual boot on this machine.

 

I have two spare pc's, an Acer and a HP which are both about the same spec as each other and i would love to install Mac OS X onto one of them if possible.

 

I have spent the last few months reading posts, downloading software and trying different installs, and even though i think of myself as "pretty computer literate", i have got nowhere fast.

 

I would really like someone within the community to help me as i am now becoming frustrated with my failures But please keep things simple for me, as i am NOT a computer programmer - but i am willing to give anything a shot to get Mac OS X on my pc.
