TheRegister
Hi all ! I have an Dell D620/D820 laptop. I installed my Snow Leopard with retail mode. I have put ALL "patched" kext into the hidden HFS EFI partition. Now I can boot my CD, or HDD, or USB retail, and updates everythings. All works, fine in 32Bit mode execpt Touchpad and Trackpoint. It's now 3day I search to find make it work in EFI mode, but I don't find the correct kext to do that. BUT, if I boot my PC with Empire EFI, the touchpad and trackpoint work (no graphic no network, nothing works for an produtivity). I have try to copy ALL kexts into my /Extra, but it's still not working. Do you know any method to have Touchpad work ? Here my kexts into /Extra : AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext AppleBCM5751Ethernet.kext EvOreboot.kext IOATAFamily.kext IOAudioFamily.kext IONetworkingFamily.kext JMicron36xATA.kext JMicron36xSATA.kext NVEnabler 64.kext NullCPUPowerManagement.kext OSvKernDSPLib.kext OpenHaltRestart.kext PlatformUUID.kext RTL8187SEl.kext VoodooBattery.kext VoodooHDA.kext VoodooPS2Controller.kext VoodooPS2Keyboard.kext VoodooPS2Mouse.kext VoodooTSCSync.kext fakesmc.kext Thanks for your help.
