ponsb Posted January 22, 2011 Share Posted January 22, 2011 Boot from D620SLV1 then replace it with retail OSX 10.6.3 CD and launch OSX install Launch Disk Utility Create 3 partitions (Mac Extended Journaled, MS-DOS, MS-DOS) Install OS-X in Mac journaled partition. Restart and insert Windows 7 Install CD Install Windows 7 in first MS-DOS partition, format partition as NTFS Launch Disk Management in Windows 7 and set second MS-DOS partition to ACTIVE Restart Install Windows XP format partition as NTFS Restart Insert D620SLV1 then launch Mac-OSX from HDD. Launch Post-install utility. Launch Terminal and type the following: sudo -s (enter your password) fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0 p f 2 w y q exit Restart Boot from Windows 7 Install CD Choose Repair, Recovery Tools, Command Prompt then type the following: X:> diskpart DISKPART> list disk DISKPART> select disk 0 DISKPART> list part DISKPART> select partition x (replace "x" with actual partition # of your Win7, normally "3") DISKPART> active exit Launch Repair Startup issues. Remove CD from drive Restart computer and choose OS to boot from. MacOSX will recognize Wifi (Broadcom), video (Intel 950), sound, USB 2.0, Dual Core, Speedstep, and docking capabilities. Sleep and displaying photos in Preview (except icon view) do not work.
