amilmac
Hello, I`m currently running Leopard 10.5.7 iatkos v7 (upgraded to10.5.8), install dvd boot without problems and i be able to find all kexts needed for my system. My notebook is an Acer Aspire 5610z with this specs: - Intel Core Duo processor T2050 2MB L2 cache - Intel 945GM Express - Intel 945GM integrated 3D graphics, featuring Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 950 and up to 224 MB of shared memory. - ALC883 Audio (i remember) So, now for some reasons i need to upgrade to snow leopard and i was thinking about retail installation on my notebook (not patched dvd). I was able to install SL retail in my old pc (an amd processor), so i think that in this intel system with ICH7 chipset could be able to get SL 10.6 retail running but i need help about this. I tried several bootcd (ibootcd, the nawcom bootcd) and i was unable to start a good installation, hangs reading DVD. In my current install i have chamaleon installed on notebook and when atempting to load retail dvd from chamaleon it really loads but gives a gray screen, nothing more appears. So, i mean that i really need a nawcombootcd or similar with some kexts to my chachine to get a sucesfully installation. Any help will be hight appreciate! Thanks in advance for all help.
