vergil1991
Hi, after a week of research and endless days I decided to finally write a help topic because is impossible to install any version or distro of snow leopard on the pc in my signature. I have SATA DVD and HD. iHazard hangs on ACPI: system state and type numbers s0 s3 etc. iATKOS if I start with-v gives me the same, but with-v-x charge me a lot of things but then re-lock at ACPI system state etc.. then I have recommended universal snow, I took it, but I try to put the-v tells me appledecrypt: starting and it remains in that screen, but if I write things like x-v-arch = i386 cpus = 1 busratio= 20, i have: Extension "com.apple.drive.apple.driver.ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin" has immediate dependencies on Both com.apple.kernel com.apple.kpi and components, use only one style. Extension "com.apple.drive.apple.driver.IOPlatformPluginFamily" has immediate dependencies on Both com.apple.kernel com.apple.kpi and components, use only one style. I'm really desperate hope that someone knows how to do. In my BIOS there's not teh AHCI option. Thank you an advance to anyone who can make me do even a minimal step. SubliemeSiem
I'm guessing this has to do with your SATA drives. You'll nees a kext for that, I believe there's either AppleIntelPIIXATA.kext for intel chipsets and AppleVIAATA.kext for VIA chipsets, but I can't be really sure since I have AHCI. You might want to google using the keywords SATA and osx86. I believe that the ##### + ##### method (use google, first hit) has some SATA kexts, but once again, I can't be sure about that. Good luck with you configuration. Greets, Siem.
