Hello all,

I've been using this guide:

http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2010/04/ibo...ac-os-x-on.html

To install Snow Leopard on my PC but I'm having a slight problem - while I can get into the installation setup just fine, the drive I want to install it on has 2 partitions: the old OSX partition and an NTFS partition with a lot of data I can't lose. However, no matter what I seem to try, it only will let me install if I partition the whole disk. I've tried erasing and resetting the first partition to HFS+, but no luck, it still wants me to simply wipe the whole disk and repartition it. Any help on how to avoid this so I can install only on the first partition would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Richard

I'm guessing you're using an installer without the proper OSInstall for the MBR compatibility.

You're right I'm just using ##### + Snow Leopard DVD like in the guide.. Should I change ##### to something else or add a package to my current installer? Any tip would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Richard
