Sainte Colombe Posted January 19, 2011 Share Posted January 19, 2011 Newby to OSx86 but have been doing computer programming since 1974 I fiddled most of the day yesterday with Iatkos s3 and most everything installed but either had a black screen or a flashing one. This time if possible I'd like to benefit from your collective knowledge and do it correctly the first time I'm sure there's a good Samaritan out there that can give me some tips to choose the proper drivers at setup with IDeneb v5 to get my machine running from the start, that is basics : - graphics = NVIDIA Geforce 9600M GT GPU (total memory 256 Mb) - Audio = Chipset ALC885 (Realtek) this seems easy as the installation file has these drivers BUT on the other hand = Ethernet driver is = Marvell 10.53 Wireless driver is (origin) = Wireless LAN driver Intel 12.0.0 VS I don't see these drivers listed on the options during installation and would GREATLY appreciate which ones I should use (or will the basic installation at least work for the Ethernet)? Sainte Colombe Posted January 19, 2011 Author Share Posted January 19, 2011 I have succeeded in installing OSX86 via Ideneb v1.5.1 The problem is even though I selected the NV Darwin 256 patch during installation the graphics are out = black sceen!
