:) is it possible?

with

i3 530 Processor

Ecs h55h-m board

with

 

AUDIO

 

* VIA® VT1705 6-channel audio CODEC

 

i guess this can be fix by ViaHDA.kext for the audio/sound issues

 

LAN

 

* Atheros AR8131M Gigabit Fast Ethernet Controller

* Atheros AR8132M 10/100 Fast Ethernet Controller(Optional)

 

 

a total of 4gb ddr3 memroy

a compatible video card

sata hardisk

I have the same motherboard!

 

After retail DVD install:

- audio worked immediately

- SATA optical drive not detected

- SATA HDD not detected

- processor and RAM was not recognized

- monitor models and 9400GT vid card were recognized

-- I could even do multimonitor setup here

 

After 10.6.6 update:

- RAM and CPU now recognized

 

My current OS is installed on a USB HDD with GUID partitioning.

I want to be successful here first before I try messing with my real HDD.

 

I have yet to try to set an option in BIOS from IDE to AHCI

and check if that solves the SATA detection stuff.
